Sim Aik Siong
Sim Aik Siong is a business consultant with years of experience in knowledge management and media management. Previously, he was Head Project Manager for industrial innovation at a European Union funded agency, covering key sectors such as media, tourism and renewable energy. More recently, he had been Head of Knowledge Management in Asia’s largest strategic intelligence consultancy servicing banks, central banks and governments.
Aik Siong was a Thayer Scholar at Purdue University, where he received a M.Sc. In Economics. He is keen on fishing and traveling, and has visited about 60 countries thus far.
Shane Kelly
San Francisco native Shane heads up the processing and integration practice at MDO where he consistently demonstrates a talent for transposing successful business practices across platforms and cultures. Previously, he was Process Manager at a successful smart grid solutions company backed by the prominent Silicon Valley venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Before that, he had served in an elite U.S. Air Force unit.
Shane graduated from Berkeley with a degree in computer science and enjoys racing anything from go-karts to bikes to high performance automobiles. He has also studied Wing Chun for nearly two decades, and is a grand-disciple of the legendary Yip Man.
Tan Boon Teck
BT focuses on business intelligence and technology at MDO Group. An entrepreneur in the finest old-school Singapore Teochew tradition, he started his first business venture when still a student at Raffles Institution. BT is also managing partner of Kidotech, a customer relationship management firm that specializes in telecommunications and counts Nokia and RIM amongst its list of clients.
BT graduated from the Nanyang Technological University with a degree in computer engineering. He appreciates Chinese arts and great food, and takes pleasure in uncovering delicious hidden gems.
Lim Boon Hock
Boon is responsible for operations and alliances at our firm. Prior to joining MDO, he spent 15 years in the US where he was an operations manager focused on customer need management and risk mitigation. He led a $20 million datacentre campus expansion project for Charles Schwab and successfully maneuvered the project through the financial turbulence of 2008. At MDO, Boon’s due diligence ensures that the goals of all stakeholders in a partnership agreement are aligned.
Boon graduated with an M.Sc. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford, where he was also the President of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering.
